Dr. Ford earned her DMD from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois after completing her BA in Communication from SUNY Geneseo and her MA in Health Communication from Emerson College and Tufts University. Dr. Ford has a strong passion for helping others and will always take the extra time to help improve patients' oral health and overall health.
Dr. Ford started her dental journey here 17 years ago, assisting Dr. Kaplan as she worked towards her Master's degree and pre-dental coursework. Dr. Ford returned in 2017 as an associate dentist and purchased the practice in July 2020 from Dr. Kaplan.
Dr. Ford was awarded several leadership awards and scholarships while in dental school and has continued to volunteer for those organizations and provide free dental care to those in need. Sponsors of these awards include The International College of Dentists, Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Lifeline Network, and Oral Health Foundation Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Ford is committed to lifelong learning and is an active member of CDOCS, SPEAR, and Dentaltown, where she has actively pursued classes every year. She is constantly keeping up with technology and embracing what is new in the practice.
Dr. Ford loves dentistry and interacting with her patients, but she also has a long list of interests. She loves to decorate, be it her home, the office, or her fun outfits! She enjoys cooking, baking, and always trying a new recipe! She loves to bargain shop, read, travel, golf, bowling, pickleball, arcades, cards, gardening, and live concerts. She is always enjoying time with family and friends! Lastly, she has a huge spot in her heart for rescue dogs, and after getting to know her, you will surely know who Poppy is!
